Avely is a recruitment (applicant tracking) service operated by Place Up FZE, Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park, Block B, Office B15-077, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates ("Avely", "we").
These terms apply to the company that creates an Avely account and to the people it invites to use it. By creating an account you agree to them on your company's behalf and confirm you are allowed to do so.
Avely is in beta. These terms are a provisional draft and will be updated; we will ask you to accept a new version when they change in a way that matters.
The beta is free of charge. No payment details are taken and nothing here commits you to a paid plan.
Beta software changes often. Features may be added, changed or removed, and the service may be unavailable at times. We do not promise any level of availability during the beta.
Either of us may stop at any time: you can stop using Avely, and we may suspend or end the beta or an account, in particular if these terms are broken.
The person who creates the account becomes the company's Admin. The Admin decides who is invited, what they can do, and is responsible for what is done through the company's account.
Keep sign-in details private. Tell us if you believe an account has been used without permission.
Give accurate information when signing up, including a company name you are entitled to use.
Everything your company puts into Avely — jobs, candidates, CVs, notes, messages — remains yours. We use it only to provide the service to you.
Your company decides why and how candidate information is used and is responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and keep it, for telling candidates how it is used, and for answering their requests (for example to see, correct or delete their information). Avely provides the tools; your company makes the decisions.
Each company's data is kept separate from every other company's.
How Avely itself handles personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. Job applicants are shown a separate applicant privacy notice on your careers page.
You may connect a Microsoft or Google account so Avely can send the emails you write and manage interview events. Avely acts only on your instruction and you can disconnect at any time. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms.
Some features use automated processing — for example reading a CV to fill in a candidate profile. Results can be wrong; check them before relying on them. Hiring decisions are always yours.
Use Avely only for genuine recruitment by your company.
Do not use it to break the law, to discriminate unlawfully, to send unsolicited bulk messages, to store information you have no right to hold, to try to access another company's data, or to disrupt or probe the service.
Do not publish job adverts that are misleading or for roles that do not exist.
Your company's Admin may ask us to close the account. The account is switched off first; after a waiting period of 30 days its data is permanently deleted, and it cannot be recovered after that. During the waiting period the Admin can ask for the account to be restored.
You are responsible for keeping your own copy of anything you need before deletion.
We provide Avely with reasonable care, but during the beta it is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost data arising from use of the beta. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms. The version and date at the top show which version you are reading.
